fire pots + tacos.

Today was a great day, we went to Liangxiang where we met up with Brian (one of Biscuet's friends) for lunch. We went for huo guo (literally "fire pot", but moreso known as hot pot) which is always fun apparently. Beef, lamb, rice noodles, potatoes, and yes, romaine lettuce (?) all cooked in a boiling cauldron of goodness. Later. we took a bus back into Beijing where we went to... Pete's Tex Mex. Now, don't get me  wrong, I'm all about local flavors for sure, but there's really nothing like carne asada tacos in China.
